A workshop Multiplier Event 1 was held on 15.06.2016 at the Instituto de Salud Carlos III
(Avda. Monforte de Lemos, 5. Madrid) as a dissemination activities of project OVOMAX.
Participants were informed about the main objective of the project and the initial
structure of the online course.
The Annual Meeting 1, Quality Committee Meeting 2 and Steering Committee Meeting 3 were held on 25.10.2016 at the Instituto de Biomecanica de Valencia (Spain). During the meetings, the consortium discussed all current activities of the IO1 and IO2. The individual modules that will create an online course were discussed. An action plan for the coming period of the project was presented.25.10.2016

On 07.02.2017, at the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital (VIRGEN DEL ROCÍO HOSPITAL) in Seville (Spain), the Multiplier Event (Dissemination activity of the results of intellectual work) of project OVOMAX was organized. During the event, the outcome of IO1 was presented; definition of training preferences on the basis on the conducted surveys and detailed structure of the online course. In addition, there was a presentation of all modules of the OVOMAX course and method for assessing the skills acquired by the student. The speakers highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration between healthcare professionals and engineers and between hospitals, research centers and companies – well-structured OVOMAX course offer such approach.07.02.2017
During the workshops the following topics has been discussed: regulatory aspects in the additive manufacturing of medical devices; experience of a company in additive manufacturing and specialized training in the manufacture of orthopedic implants and cranio-maxillofacial implants.07.03.2017
